AB Access Control is proud to announce that it has recently been recognised as one of the most innovative businesses across Wales within the construction sector, with it being listed in the Construction Wales Innovation Index 2019.

The Construction Wales Innovation Index is a new initiative in association with Construction Futures Wales to support and celebrate some of Wales’ most innovative businesses in the construction sector and built environment.

The initiative looks particularly at the supply chain to draw attention to the depth of the sector and its relevance to the future economic prosperity.

AB Access Control is one of just 33 companies in Wales to be listed in the index, with each business having been assessed by a handpicked panel of experts.

AB Access Control is the newest division of AB Glass, having launched in September 2018. The innovative new division has enabled the company to become a one-stop shop for manufactured aluminium and access control products for both the domestic and commercial markets.

Alan Brayley, managing director of AB Glass, said:

“It is wonderful to be recognised for our innovation within the Construction Wales Innovation Index 2019. With AB Access Control having launched less than a year ago, it just shows how clear strategic direction accompanied by innovation can lead a business to quick success.

“We are always looking ahead at how best to serve our clients and this involves a focus on new ideas, technologies and approaches. Our continuous drive to deliver on every specification can only be achieved with innovation, which is why we hold it as such a key factor to our business.”
