YKK AP America, Austell, Ga., has hired Kevin Haynes as brand manager for its ProTek hurricane impact and blast mitigation fenestration products.

Haynes will leverage more than 25 years of industry experience to focus on product positioning and applications, as well as offer training and education in the growing relevance and important role of fenestration during hurricane and blast events.

Prior to joining the company, Haynes worked as the national architectural products sales manager for Vitro Architectural Products, where he launched a line of architectural aluminum products for the commercial construction industry. He also worked as an architectural/special project representative for Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope™. While at Oldcastle Building Envelope, he was the primary contact within the eastern region for hurricane impact-resistant, blast mitigation, sustainable and standard product applications.
