Winona stained-glass maker, biggest in U.S., sold; new owner plans tech upgrades

A 116-year-old stained-glass maker - the largest in the U.S. - will get a technology infusion from its new owner. Winona-based Willet Hauser Architectural Glass Inc. was purchased by Associated Crafts Inc. in Phoenix, Associated owner John Phillips Jr. told the Minneapolis/St.

Paul Business Journal Wednesday.  

Willet Hauser was formed in the 1997 merger between Winona's Hauser Art Glass Co. (founded in 1946) and Pittsburgh's WIllet Studios (founded in 1898).
