The new 46" x 78" sheets join the company’s current offering, which is 30" x 60" in size. "We can now accommodate larger designs," notes Brian Brunette, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain National Sales Manager. "This gives architects more freedom to use fire-rated glazing while still meeting the fire and impact safety requirements of local building codes."
Keralite FR-R is a wireless, fire-rated glass-ceramic used in fire-rated locations such as transoms and borrowed lites. Keralite FR-F is a wireless, fire-rated glass-ceramic with surface applied safety film for high impact safety (CPSC Category II). It is designed for use in locations where accidental human impact safety ratings are required, such as doors, transoms and borrowed lites. Keralite FR-F provides fire ratings of 20-, 45-, 60-, 90-and 180-minute duration, and also helps to contain smoke and flames.
