Vetropack awarded FSSC 22000

Date: 26 February 2014

Vetropack Straza, Croatia and Vetropack’s Austrian glassworks in Pöchlarn obtained the FSSC 22000 certifications.   FSSC 22000 is an ISO-based, internationally accepted certification scheme for auditing and certification of food safety in the whole supply chain.

It is approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

"Achieving FSSC 22000 at the first two of our glassworks is a tangible demonstration of our commitment as a valued supplier to the food and beverage industry,” said Claude Cornaz, CEO Vetropack Group.

The FSSC certification is planned for all Vetropack glassworks over the next few years. Vetropack Nemšová in Slovakia is on the agenda for 2014, to be followed by all the other Vetropack works from 2015 onwards.
