The former President and CEO of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics brings more than 30 years of experience with Saint-Gobain to the role of President and CEO for Saint-Gobain North America.

With more than 30 years of experience working at Saint-Gobain, Tom Kinisky was recently named President and CEO of Saint-Gobain in North America. In this role, Tom’s priorities are to attract new and diverse talent, unlock the innovation potential within each and every business, and communicate the positive impact that the Saint-Gobain company makes in North America every day.

Tom started his career with Saint-Gobain when he joined the Norton Company in 1989 as a Technology Manager in the company’s Advanced Ceramics business. In 1990, Norton was acquired by Saint-Gobain and his career skyrocketed. From there, he led Norton’s Technical Services Group in its Northboro, Massachusetts, Research and Development Center.

In 1995, Tom became the Technology Director for the Bonded Abrasives business and, two years later, he was promoted to Vice President of Technology and New Business Development for Saint-Gobain’s Abrasives Division., Tom was appointed President of Saint-Gobain Crystals in 2002 and President of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics in 2008. Tom filled the role of President and CEO of Saint-Gobain North America in early 2017.

Tom succeeds John Crowe in the role of President and CEO of Saint-Gobain North America.
