MiniLab Controller “requests” containers from the production conveyor for dimensional and capacity measurements. These measurement results are communicated to your Process Control System.
ISIS is an Automated Dimensional Measurement System. Requested containers can be transferred from two different production lines. The containers are weighed and dimensionally checked using noncontact, precision optics and high resolution cameras.
MLP is an Automated Pressure Tester that can be fitted with a Capacity / Volume measurement gauge. The Capacity Gauge uses patented sensing technology to calculate the container’s volume at a desired fill height.
Wouldn’t it be great to know and understand your manufacturing process with reliable, timely and accurate process control reports? Where are your marginal containers right now? They are somewhere between GOOD and BAD, but where, how soon will they become rejects and more good money just thrown away?
Manual go-no-go gauges only provide pass/fail results. Do you feel secure with the individuals performing manual go-no-go gauging? Do they have the time to do these critical tests on a regular basis? How often can these tests be performed in a 24 period? Are these tests accurate and reliable? These are questions only you can answer.
If customer satisfaction, saving money, and increasing pack are important to you, automate your data collection process with Emhart’s MiniLab. The MiniLab is the missing link, providing the necessary feedback to the hot end. The MiniLab sends your critical measurement data, automatically, with timely and accurate results.
Don’t continue to rely on manual go-no-go gauges. Start using Emhart’s MiniLab Automated Statistical Sampling System today and let Emhart help keep your glass containers consistent and within the parameters established by your customer.
With a giant Return On Investment, there is nothing “MINI” about Emhart’s MiniLab.
