The intelligent glass Smart-Tint will be out on display again next month this time at the Grand Designs Live show at Docklands Excel.

The show runs from Sat 3rd May until Sun 11th May for 9 days and attracts 150,000 visitors! Already 45,000 visitors have pre paid for tickets which cost £15 in the week and £18 for the weekend. We have free tickets to offer anyone who contacts us to come and see us at the show!

This year Kevin Mcloud has a challenge to build a house in 6 days and their will be 11 hours of live television broadcast from the show through out the 9 days on Channel 4, more 4 and E4 every day!

Roof-Maker Ltd will be showing their unique switchable Smart-Tint units that switch from opaque to clear in less than a second via a low voltage power pack. Since the HB&R show we attended at the NEC and recent lifestyle magazine marketing the phones have been going mad with enquiries ranging from interior designers to architects and systems companies all wanting to use switchable glass in various projects.

Scott Nicholas from Roof-Maker said “We are now entering what I call ‘the honeymoon period’ on a new product where people order like crazy with speed of delivery being more important than prices quoted. Smart-Tint will easily double our profits this year as we are now in a very strong position to dominate the market with this unique product.
