The state government will make concerted efforts to invite investments in ceramic and glass industry, along with ensuring availability of gas and other requisites.
Speaking at the valedictory session of CeraGlass 2010, state industries minister Rajendra Pareek said while Rajasthan is rich in minerals, the value-addition industry is lagging behind. "We are encouraging investors to come to Rajasthan," the minister said.
Principal secretary, industries and chairman, RIICO Sunil Arora assured that the state will make all efforts to ensure availability of gas to all ceramic and glass clusters in the state before the next edition of the CeraGlass in 2012.
