BRUSSELS, 28 September 2011, 5.40 pm (cet).In accordance with the financial transparency rules and legislation, Solvac has notified Solvay that on 19 September 2011 the participation of Solvay Stock Option Management in Solvay has passed upward the threshold of 3%.

At this date, the participation of Solvay Stock Option Management amounted to 3.02% of the shares issued by Solvay S.A., or 2,558,409 shares. The participation of Solvac in Solvay amounted to 30.12% (25,512,757 shares).
