Şişecam Flat Glass attends the 2nd Innovative Glazing Global Summit

Attaching great importance to energy efficiency, Şişecam Flat Glass participated in the 2nd Innovative Glazing Global Summit held in Prague with its state-of-the-art products.

The 2nd Innovative Glazing Global Summit, organized by Luxatia International and bringing together the industry's leading glass manufacturers, architects and façade engineers, featured discussions on the innovative glazing solutions and sustainability, as well as the future trends and technological developments in the industry.

The leader of Turkish flat glass market and Europe's largest producer, Şişecam Flat Glass attended the 2nd Innovative Glazing Global Summit held by Luxatia International in Prague.

The event bringing together the industry's leading glass manufacturers, architects and façade engineers featured discussions on the innovative glazing solutions, sustainability and the future trends and technological developments in the glass industry.

In the summit, Esra Aydınoğlu, Şişecam Flat Glass Coated Glass Product Manager, made a presentation titled "Insights into Different Case Studies". The presentation started out with a brief about  Şişecam Flat Glass along with the entire group of companies.

As far as the case studies, the use of glass in façades and interior decoration of Şişecam Headquarters, Flat Glass Experience Center, the façade solutions of Istanbul's New Airport and the brands and features of the glass solutions used in Antakya Hilton Museum Hotel were presented.

During the event, façade consultancy and engineering companies Bollinger + Grohmann , Malishev Engineers, Mott MacDonald, Koltay Facades and Wates Group, as well as the architecture firm Henning Larsen Architects also shared their projects and interesting solutions for glass with their presentations.

Commenting on the event, Dieter Moor, CEO of Ertex Solar company which moderated this year's summit, said that he was deeply impressed by Şişecam Flat Glass Experience Center.

Architect Jakob Strømann-Andersen, shareholder of Henning Larsen company, highlighted the importance of seeing an immense variety of samples altogether while choosing the right glass as in the case of Şişecam Flat Glass Experience Center. Two-days-summit was attended by 60  leading sector professionals of the industry.
