Date: 23 December 2021
“Scm Group Live Christmas”, broadcast in live streaming, was the opportunity to take stock of a year which, as said by the Group's CEO, Marco Mancini, recorded extraordinary financial and non-financial performances, in particular with the launch of 30 new products or product ranges. Record increases in terms of orders and turnover also for the SCM and CMS brands as highlighted, respectively, by the Wood Division Director Luigi De Vito and by the Other Materials Division Director Giovanni Negri.
Space was also given to innovation, with the winners of Ideas of Improvement and Innovation Award prizes, who, together with other colleagues, contribute to constantly enhancing the technological level of the very wide range of products and services of the Group’s companies. Special recognition also went to retired colleagues, with seniority from twenty-five to over forty years, who have participated in the company's continuous growth path.
The event also reserved many surprises that involved the entire Scm Group “family” of the offices in Italy and around the world; a way for everyone to feel closer to each other despite the geographical distance and the protracted restrictions linked to the pandemic. For the first time the Christmas Tree at the Rimini headquarters was decorated with special ornaments: the original decorations created by the children and grandchildren of the Group’s employees, many of which were made from recycled materials. Sharing was the watchword of the Scm Group Christmas Band, which, on the notes of Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, involved many employees from Italy and abroad in the "guise" of singers or musicians. A precious opportunity also for team building, to give life to the new corporate video for the end of the year. There was also the Christmas cake baked live by our four masterchefs, colleagues who for a few months have created a cooking column on the Scm Group Social App.
An event dedicated to people, because it is thanks to the whole Scm Group team that 2021 was able to close under the best auspices.
