Leading Vehicle Glass Repair and Replacement Provider Launches Open Enrollment Video CampaignCHARLESTON, S.

C., Oct. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Benefitfocus today announced that Safelite AutoGlass® has selected the Benefitfocus Video Library and custom video to transform employee communication during Open Enrollment. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Safelite is the nation's leading supplier of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, delivering service to 4 million customers annually.

Each year, Safelite faces the challenge of communicating Open Enrollment information to approximately 10,000 employees across 1,200 locations in all 50 states. With Benefitfocus video technology, Safelite can quickly provide consistent education to its entire workforce via their mobile phones. Safelite's Open Enrollment video campaign delivers a new video each week that explains a different part of the company's benefits package, and employees can pause and review content as needed. Since 95 percent of Safelite employees work out in the field with limited computer access, Benefitfocus specifically designed the videos for mobile devices so employees can learn about their benefits on their smartphones, on the go.

"Selecting Benefitfocus video technology was an easy decision for us," said Donna Gibson, Compensation and Benefits Senior Manager for Safelite. "Our employees are typically on the road serving our customers, so they don't always have time to attend an Open Enrollment meeting or sit at a desk and read through the Summary Plan Description. Benefitfocus solved that problem for us with video. Now we can easily provide top-quality education without a huge time or technology investment."

"Today, people are watching billions of videos online every month and large employers like Safelite are embracing video as their preferred mode of employee communication," said Nancy Sansom, Benefitfocus Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. "It's exciting to see, and we're proud to work with Safelite as they continue to provide great benefits to their employees and great service to their customers."

Safelite's Open Enrollment video campaign launched on September 7 and continues until Open Enrollment begins in November. Video topics include health savings accounts, medical plans, life and disability coverage and wellness offerings.
