Raute Precision delivers batch plants to Russia and Turkey

Türkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari A. (Sisecam), the leading glass producer in Turkey, has ordered batch plants from Raute Precision for their glass plants in Russia and in Turkey.

The total value of the above deliveries is approximately 2 million euros.

To Russia, Gorohovets Vladimiskaya Oblast, Raute delivers a glass batch plant including design of steel construction, machinery for raw material and batch transfer, dosing, weighing and mixing systems as well as control system for the batch plant and the cullet return line. Machinery delivery takes place in turn of the year 2003/2004 and start-up of the batch plant in April 2004.

To Turkey Raute delivers a batch plant to Sisecam’s Mersin glass plant which produces security and figured glass. The delivery includes dosing, weighing and mixing systems as well as control system for the batch plant and the cullet return line. Machinery will be delivered in February 2004 and the start-up of the plant is planned for the summer 2004.

This new project is Raute’s first batch plant order for Sisecam’s container glass industry. Since 1996, Raute Precision has delivered four batch plants for Sisecam’s fibre and float glass industry. According to Sisecam, the factors behind the purchase decision were Raute Precision’s high quality and reliable systems as well as successful management of the previous, tight scheduled batch plant projects.
