PRESS GLASS introducing a mobile application

Clients, business partners and employees of PRESS GLASS can now use a new application – PRESS GLASS MOBILE for smartphones.

Functionalities of the application available in four languages allow managing Declarations of Properties as well as directly contacting the company. The application shall be extended regularly by new functionalities useful in day-to-day work. Coming soon the functionality of silkscreen configuration and selection of glass meeting acoustic requirements.

Presently the application allows searching and previewing Declarations of Properties for specific products manufactured at PRESS GLASS plants and sending Declarations to own e-mail address or printing them. Declarations of properties can be downloaded in a number of available language versions.

Pursuant to EU legislation, Declarations of Properties are mandatory documents when marketing products subject to so-called “harmonized standard” or European Technical Approval (ETA). Current regulations assume that such Declaration has to be handed over upon product delivery in soft copy or hard copy (when expressly requested).

The possibility of downloading Declarations via PRESS GLASS MOBILE application is an innovative extension of communication with the Company and material facility – both for Company employees and business partners.

Presently the application can be used on iPhone with iOS 6.0 or newer. In the future the application shall be released also for iPads and mobile devices with Android OS.
