PPG Issues Warranty For DURANAR Coatings Used With Photovoltaic Systems

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 9, 2009 – PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) has issued a standard 30-year warranty for Duranar coatings used with building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems on standing seam metal roofs with approved substrates.

Approved substrates include galvalume, acrylic-coated galvalume, galvanized steel and aluminum.
