"We are very pleased to receive support from PPG for a summer math enrichment program," said Dr. Mark Smith, president, Ohio Christian University. "The funding supports the establishment of a program to teach mathematics and related skills to young people in the area, encouraging them to pursue lifelong learning and math-oriented vocations."
The first math enrichment program took place this past summer on the campus of Ohio Christian University. University officials are currently working with Pickaway County commissioners to expand the program.
“PPG is strongly committed to supporting the communities where its employees work and live,” said David Moss, plant manager for PPG’s automotive coatings manufacturing facility in Circleville. “We are proud to support Ohio Christian University in its efforts to help enrich the youth of Pickaway County by enabling them to learn important skills that will be useful as they become tomorrow’s work force.”
