Pilkington: Clyde Leff to be new Company

Clyde Leff, group general counsel, is to become company secretary of Pilkington with effect from May 1, continuing in his role as group general counsel.

Clyde will replace as company secretary John McKenna, who has announced his retirement after 37 years with Pilkington.

As a consequence, both the Group Secretarial Department and Group Legal Department will come under the overall management of Clyde Leff.

Assistant company secretary Sheila Lennon will continue in her current position reporting directly to Clyde. She will be responsible for the company secretarial work and share schemes administration work undertaken by Group Secretarial.

Paul Ravenscroft, who joined the Group as senior counsel in September, will assume responsibility for certain legal aspects of the work undertaken by Group Secretarial.
