The four-day show was held in conjunction with two other building product fairs and attracted thousands of visitors, including construction companies, specialist fabricators, architects and designers.
"The event was a premium way to reinforce the Pilkington brand in a huge market that highly values quality, innovation and reputation," said marketing and business development manager Chris Barker, from Building Products Australia, who attended the show with colleagues from North America and Asia.
"The Pilkington display was visible from all parts of the exhibition and attracted a constant stream of visitors."
The stand featured a range of energy efficient, speciality and decorative products and included a sneak preview of a new laminated high light transmission, high shading Solar E range with an ITO interlayer being launched in Australia. The Pilkington Profilit glass system was also on display and the exhibition stand used a high quality slide show to present case studies of various product applications in high profile Australian and Asian projects.
The conference sessions, titled 'New Challenges and Opportunities with Glass' included a presentation by Lynton Wombwell, technical services manager Building Products Australia on 'Glass and the Energy Conscious World'.
