NSG Group To Showcase Glass Innovations At ISE

Date: 23 January 2015

The NSG Group, owner of the Pilkington brand, will exhibit a range of high-performance glass innovations at this year’s Integrated Systems Europe Show in Amsterdam on 10-12 February.

The products will be displayed at the NSG Group booth, #8-D352.A new anti-reflective glass product, Pilkington OptiView™ Protect, will be unveiled by NSG at the show.Pilkington OptiView™ Protect is a laminated glass, proving enhanced safety and security, combined with tough anti-reflective coatings. This product offers many benefits for outdoor digital signage, including high light transmission, low reflection, a neutral colour, UV blocking, and available in a large stock formatsize.

The NSG Group will also showcase its new digital display mirror products, Pilkington MirroView™ and Pilkington MirroView™ 50/50. Coated with a highly reflective mirror coating, these products are ideal for concealing digital displays and video screens when they are turned off. When the display is turned on, the glass allows the display to show through.

Also on display will be the NSG TEC™ range of products, which are a perfect option for touch-screen covers where a transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coating is required. The range is durable and robust and provides excellent performance at a competitive price point.

Pilkington OptiView™, a monolithic or single-sheet glass designed to reduce glare from televisions, flat panels, computer screens, aircraft transparencies and similar electronic displays, will also be on display at the show. Its high-performance coating reduces reflection from the front surface to less than one per cent, while also providing high light transmittance.

Digital signage and displays are one of the most powerful forms of media and demand for the technology is steadily increasing. The NSG Group offers the widest range of robust, pyrolytic, toughenable, coated glass products for use in digital signage and touch screen applications.

The ISE show has been running since 2004 and provides a Europe-wide forum for the professional AV and electronic systems integration markets. Please email marketing.communications@nsg.com for more information.
