New large-scale investment in Buzau

Turkish windshield producer Sisecam is pouring 65 million Euro in a new a manufacturing facility in Buzau, according to Agerpres.

The firm’s flat glass division, Trakia Cam alongside Romania's automotive and industrial glass manufacturer, Glass Corp, have concluded a joint venture in July this year and already purchased the necessary buildings for this large-scale investment.

The new factory will create 200 jobs, according to Glass Corp managing director Marius Neagu, quoted by Agerpres. The company will produce windshields, mobile hatches glass, side and rear windows and for automobiles and commercial vehicles. The construction will start after the approval of the financial project and will be completed by November 2013.
