Minister of Economic Affairs of Lower Saxony visits Heye logistics facilities

Last Friday, Olaf Lies, Minister of Economic Affairs of Lower Saxony visited the Heye logistics facilities in Stadthagen together with Stadthagen’s mayor Bernd Hellmann and the district chief executive of Schaumburg, Jörg Farr.

Dirk Pörtner, Heye’s managing director, took the opportunity to explain the background of the company’s logistics strategy.  The visitors were very pleased about Heye’s initiative to invest in the local community.Olaf Lies commented on the political efforts to enhance the local transport connection to the highway A2 in order to shorten delivery times for goods and commuting times for the workforce.
