Reamstown, Pa., Oct. 17, 2011 – Lloyd Buckwell has joined DORMA Americas in the key position of Area Human Resources Director for the Americas.

His duties include employee development and succession planning, employee compensation and benefits programs, union relations management and health, safety and wellness program development – all elements of human resources management in which he has extensive experience.



Mr. Buckwell’s deep and broad background extends to domestic and international business management. He has held senior human resource positions at Wastequip, a fabricated metals and plastics manufacturer, and Schneller, an aerospace manufacturing company. In addition, he was Vice President of Human Resources at Hawk Corporation, a global portfolio of businesses in the friction material, powdered metal and electric motors industries.



A Minnesota native, he received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Kent State University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Akron. He is Six Sigma Green Belt-trained and certified and has received many awards including the Ohio Governor’s Award for Excellence in Training.
