Trade Customers attending Lister Trade Frames’ Open Day in October left smiling with their hands, pockets and heads full of a whole range of new products and sales tools to help to support and grow their businesses.

The day was a huge success for all, with attendees being the first to see the launch of the latest innovations by Listers.

A key focus of the open day was the launch of their Pilkington energiKare partnership, promoting the new ‘B’ rated energy efficient windows that Listers now offer as standard at no extra cost to their customers!

Other business innovations promoted on the day included new coloured profiles for windows and doors available ex-stock, new building plastics products now available from their trade counter and new conservatory sales and installation tools tailored specifically to support their customers’ needs and give them the edge over their competitors.

The current economic climate has given installers a renewed focus on promoting and presenting themselves professionally whilst not breaking the bank (pardon the pun) and this is where Listers put the main emphasis of the event. They launched a whole range of new marketing and sales tools, encompassing an array of advertising options including sales DVDs, website design, product samples and presenters, brochures plus new computer quotation software, most of which was provided free of charge to their customers.

The open day reflected the philosophy at Listers, which is to not just supply quality windows, doors and conservatories but to also care for their customers by providing a complete support package so that they are fully equipped in all aspects of their businesses.

Sales Director, Phil Warren was thrilled with the success of the Open Day,

“Both visitors and staff were delighted with the opportunities and advantages that the day provided! It gave our customers the first chance to view the whole new range of innovative products and tools we’ve recently launched. Staff on the other hand had the opportunity to demonstrate the many other ways in which we care for and support our customers, which goes far beyond the standard service most other fabricators offer.”

Impressed with the new range of window and door products on offer, attendees also used the day to find out how they could best take advantage of the marketing and I.T. services provided by Listers. Customers were extremely pleased to receive software and marketing support to match the high quality of the product.

And if that wasn’t enough, trade customers were also lucky enough to drive away in clean, shiny vans, taking advantage of the Free Van Wash that Listers were offering on the day as a treat for their customers!

There may be a lot of doom and gloom about in the news, but seeing the happy faces at the Listers event would convince you of the opportunities out there for those companies still investing in the future of our industry.
