This year the Glass and Glazing Industry will see the prestigious G-08 awards ceremony take place on Friday 3rd October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. The awards recognise individual and corporate achievement at raising and improving the standards, performance and products of the entire industry.

Listers’ nomination makes this the fourth consecutive year that the leading manufacturer has been recognised at the awards.

Having been identified as Fabricator of the year at G05 and winning the Training and Development Award in G06, Listers is now thrilled to also be recognised for its achievements in Customer Care.

The Customer Care category specifically aims to highlight those companies that pride themselves on excellent customer relations and support. It intends to emphasize how such companies are continually proving the tabloids wrong by breaking the poor public image of customer relations prevalent in the industry.

Listers’ excellent customer care involves constant review and improvement to all aspects of their customers’ interaction with the business. Recent customer care initiatives introduced by the company include window and conservatory on-site survey and design support, conservatory base building and accounts information made available on-line 24/7.

IT and HR support are two key areas of Customer Care at Listers. In addition to providing customers with online accounts and quotation details, the company’s IT department now also undertakes personalised and customised software writing, plus instant online IT support to rectify any problems customers may be experiencing.

On top of this Listers also offer full HR and Health and Safety support, encompassing all levels of employment needs from tribunal representation and employment contracts to Health and Safety policies and risk assessments.

Mark Warren, Managing Director at Listers was delighted to have been nominated for the award, ‘Customer care is an area in which we take particular pride at Listers. We strive to provide and maximise the high level of service that our support packages offer to our customers and their businesses. We don’t limit customer support to just marketing, we support our customers in all aspects of their business life. Receiving this nomination is an exceptional reward to all of our staff who have worked so hard to make our customers’ experience amongst the best in the industry.’

Listers provide the support their customers need now, and they continually strive to improve and expand their support. The motivation is to make their customers’ lives easier so that they can concentrate on building their businesses. So by caring for their customers, Listers’ customers are successful, and so are Listers.
