Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) announced on February 29, 2008  that Katherine A. Asbeck, senior vice president, Finance, has been designated as principal accounting officer, effective immediately.





Asbeck's appointment by the executive committee of Corning's Board of Directors follows the resignation of Jane D. Poulin as chief accounting officer and division vice president of Corning, effective March 31, 2008.
