JCL Invests in the Glass Machnery Range

Date: 16 November 2011

The high calibre standards associated with The Glass Machinery Company has led to substantial machinery investment by specialist sealed unit manufacturer, JCL Glass Ltd.

JCL Glass ordered a New Zafferani Flat 4 straight line edger as well as a used double sided drilling machine which have been installed to help diversify the product range and increase output at the company.

Products from The Glass Machinery Company range were reviewed by senior management at JCL Glass who had received high recommendation regarding product quality and aftercare services provided by the company.

The Zafferani range is well recognised for its premium performance with the company applying the principle that simple, efficient design is synonymous with reliability.

For The Glass Machinery Company this reliability guarantees that customers will be satisfied in product performance which is achieved via ongoing product evaluation and design innovation.

As a leading independent glass processor based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, JCL Glass Ltd manufactures Kitemark Licenced Sealed Units along with bespoke glass products such as self cleaning, solar control, fire resistant and oversized glass units nationally via a liveried fleet.

Corporate evaluation and investment in the latest sealed unit and glass production equipment ensures that all products are consistently manufactured to the highest industry standards.

The product portfolio at JCL Glass has now diversified to include a broader range of toughened glass products including balustrades and staircases thanks to products from The Glass Machinery Company.

As JCL Glass now produces many products in-house this offers customers many benefits in relation to costs and improved turnarounds.

Senior management were delighted at the speed and efficiency of the installation by The Glass Machinery team as it did not disrupt the production schedule and the products met the company’s exact requirements for its expansion programme.

Andy Archer at JCL Glass Ltd comments, “We have certainly not been disappointed in our glass machinery investments. The products and services from The Glass Machinery Company now enable us to further grow the business and make sure that our customers receive an exemplary service time after time.”

Phil Birchall, Managing Director at The Glass Machinery Company comments, “We go to great lengths to ensure that we offer a tailored service that will not only meet our customers requirements but that will exceed their expectations. We have built our reputation on this ethos which our customers can rely upon time after time and for which we are recognised.”
