ISOVER G+H Increases Sales In 2008

SAINT-GOBAIN ISOVER G+H AG was able to increase its sales by 3.9% to 379 mill. Euros in the 2008 financial year.

The main growth factor was a higher quality range. In volume terms, sales were slightly below the previous year’s figure.
 
The company registered a result after tax of 146.3 mill. Euros, compared with 70.8 mill. Euros in 2007. When comparing with the previous year, an extraordinary result of + 47.7 mill. Euros has to be taken into account which resulted from the sale of the participation in Saint-Gobain ISOVER Austria GmbH. In addition, an increase in investment earnings from 39.2 mill. Euros in 2007 to 72.8 mill. Euros in 2008 also contributed to the good annual result.
