Increase in attendance at Vitrum 2009: + 2.65 % vs. 2007

The opening day of Italy’s leading International show focusing on glass and taking place in the new Fiera Milano Rho exhibition complex from 28 to 31 October, saw an extraordinary increase in the number of visitors.



Daily statistics show a 2.65% rise in the number of visitors compared to the 2007 Vitrum show, for a total of 3,635 visitors, 1,442 of whom from Italy and 2,193 from other countries.

Today’s must-see events: Vitrum Lab: the artistic lab dedicated to Vitrum 2009 visitors offers live performances by the Murano glass blower masters along with the works created by pupils from Milan schools. The lab is open in Pavilion 15 from 9.30 to 4.00.
