Honorary Charter of Jozef Stefan Institute for Cooperation in the field of Automation

The Director-General of Steklarna Hrastnik, Andrej Božič, received an honorary charter from Jozef Stefan Institute for participation in the transfer of scientific and technological achievements and knowledge created at the Institute, into the social and economic background at home and abroad.

For several years Steklarna Hrastnik has been cooperating with the Department of Automation, Biocybernetics and Robotics at the Institute Jozef Stefan.Cooperation takes place in the field of analysis and development of automation of glassmaking operations by Steklarna Hrastnik and Research Centre eNeM, a subsidiary of Steklarna Hrastnik. Together with the Reserach centre eNeM, the Institue this year submitted an European project in the field of conception of robots which would be capable of interactive co-operation with operators in the implementation of specific glassmaking operations.
