Harmonization, regional marketing and glass extreme: Informative SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS Trade Day 2008 in Linz

Date: 24 March 2008

More than five hundred participants - and thus once again more than last year – followed a variety of presentations and live trials focused on the material glass in the Design-Center in Linz, Austria.

The range of themes extended from lasting thermal protection, via Austrian standards and directives ,right through to load-bearing tests of glass.

For years now the SGG Trade Day in Austria has been much appreciated by the visitors – that was reflected once again this year in the impressive number of participants. The event was organized by the Austrian CLIMAplusSECURIT partners C. Bergmann, ECKELT GLAS, ERTL GLAS, STEINDL GLAS and Glas Ziegler. The visitors already got a foretaste of the wide range of content in the foyer of the Design-Center, in which the five partners, SAINT-GOBAIN Vetrotech and Ertex Solar as well as SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS introduced new glass developments and applications. Daniela Mamet from SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS Deutschland acted as presenter throughout the day.
