Stand bookings for this year’s Gulf Glass exhibition have surpassed all previous editions already” says Derek Burston, exhibition director, “as it seems Dubai is proving an attractive meeting place not just for the MENA region but for the world. It seems the industry is increasingly looking to convene in ‘hotspots’ rather than just the tried, traditional venues, and in that sense, Dubai and the UAE certainly fit the bill”.
Recent additions to the exhibition include Glass Service Inc, Glasstress Ltd, Duratemp, Sheppee, Lattimer Engineering amongst others, and with enquiries for new, substantial pavilions also being finalised, Gulf Glass 2013 is all set to be a major player in this year’s glass exhibition calendar.
“People are genuinely excited about such a glass-focused event” says Burston, “and also the innovations we are putting in” he adds.
“One of these is Gulf Glass T.V. – a dedicated television studio on site that we will use to interview leading players and exhibitors, and then broadcast around a set of strategically located screens around the exhibition hall during each day. Not only is this far more effective than a conference, keeping everyone in the same exhibition hall, but it also provides unsurpassed media promotion opportunities for corporate videos and thought leadership”.
