Guardian Building Products Distribution, Inc., announces its newest product line today with the introduction of Guardian Trim TB™, Guardian Trim SW™, and Guardian Trim FF™.

This broad lineup of cellular PVC trim offers three low maintenance alternatives to wood-based exterior trim. “These three product groups offer exceptional features that make them attractive to our dealer customers, and homeowners and contractors,” said John Gunn, Vice President of Procurement for Guardian Building Products. “The products can be applied and handled just like wood without splitting or warping when installed correctly.”

Guardian Trim TB™ is made of foamed PVC using the celuka process. With a tougher surface and more flexibility than free foam, this is the ideal product for basic trim board applications. Guardian Trim FF™ is PVC produced from the free foam manufacturing process. While also suitable for trim board applications, its value is enhanced for applications in which routing or other fabrication is desired.

The unique Guardian Trim SW™ product is a composite of foamed PVC (celuka process) and wood flour, and is stainable as well as paintable. Guardian Trim™ products will be available through Guardian’s extensive building material dealer network and through its distribution centers located throughout the United States. All products offer excellent paint adhesion, are offered in a variety of sizes, and carry a 25-year limited warranty.
