The company expects that the XRT Enterprise Suite will allow it to obtain real-time visibility of its cash position and transactions, which will provide more timely information to better manage working capital assets.
The XRT Enterprise Suite will automatically link information from Guardian's banks to its corporate accounting system, including customer and supplier detail, debt, investments, foreign exchange and other treasury activities. As a result, Guardian expects to be able to eliminate a number of manual processes, which will improve data integrity and save time and money.
"Our goal is to create a state-of-the-art, world-class treasury operation to optimize our working capital management," E. Ann Waichunas, Treasurer for Guardian, said. "The XRT Enterprise Suite will provide us with a powerful tool to achieve our straight-through-processing objectives, as well as significantly improve the efficiency of our treasury operations. The time we save in automating daily cash activities will allow us to focus on helping Guardian achieve and surpass its strategic financial goals now and into the future."
"Guardian's international operations experience all of the financial complexities that come with global reach," John Wlcek, general manager of XRT's North American operations, said. "The XRT Enterprise Suite integrates and delivers critical financial information across an organization to streamline collaboration and provide extended visibility into key business operations."
