The all-Italian ability to offer the very best for hollow glass production will have a special exhibition space at Vitrum this year. Pavilion 24 will be hosting a group exhibition by 6 of the leading Gimav companies in this sector, a complete line-up of the best in Italian technology for every kind of hollow glass production and processing. Containers and bottles for the food&beverage industry and for cosmetics and perfumes; vials, droppers, small bottles and so on for pharmaceutical use; everything for tableware: the intent is to get the message across that any producer wanting to source machinery for complete production lines, can find exactly what he needs in Italy. Knowing that he can always rely on first-rate performance features and full assistance throughout the world.
The group exhibition is an open space, where the Gimav members will not be exhibiting the expertise of each, but the excellence of the group in terms of products and specialization. The spirit of the initiative was clearly explained by Michele Gusti, who is the president of both OCMI-OTC and the Gimav Hollow Glass Group: “We wanted to be there as part of Gimav because this year is important, and the fact that Expo 2015 will be running at the same time makes it even more interesting. There are many international appointments and it is not easy to be at all of these while continuing to place innovative products on the market. However this effort will be useful in strengthening the joint efforts of the members. This group participation will help us take the sum of all the competencies and excellences of Italian companies to markets”.
Among the many initiatives at Vitrum 2015, the 30th ATIV(Italian Association of Glass Technicians) conference titled: “Advances in glass processes: key innovation topics in hollow and flat glass” deserves special mention. The conference program has been finalized with the conference slated to begin on Thursday, 8 October at 9.45 am. More details from: www.vitrum-milano.it
