The Grenzebach High Speed Stacker is designed to increase glass manufacturers efficiency and flexibility by automating their stacking operations. The new system can stack multiple glass sizes in varying orientations with increased accuracy and speed.
Our customers have been demanding a more efficient, reliable and cost effective method to stack the wide variety of glass sizes that they manufacture, said Gerald Haas, sales manager for Grenzebach Corporation. Until now they have had to rely on manual labor for their stacking operations. With the Grenzebach High Speed Stacker not only will they be able to improve their employees working conditions but increase their operation efficiency and flexibility.
The Grenzebach High Speed Stacker is designed to stack lites, glass that has been cut, from a conveyor to a rack that is used to transport the product to other facility locations or to end customers. The system can handle multiple sizes of product that run through the stacking operation and is being stacked on the rack by using a 6-axis robot. The Grenzebach High Speed Stacker can stack multiple sizes of glass with varying orientation, either landscape or portrait, tin side in and tin side out giving the manufacturers the flexibility to adapt not only to the product but to rack and equipment changes as well. Using the new automated system manufacturers will increase employee working conditions, stacking accuracy and efficiency while decreasing product damage and ultimately costs.
