GPD Finland 2013 Opening Ceremony
Last week, GPD Finland 2013 summoned the elite of the glass industry once again in Tampere, Finland. Four distinguished speakers, Scott Thomsen from Guardian, Kelly Schuller from Viracon, Jonathan Cohen from DuPont and Dan Futter from Dow Corning opened the conference on Thursday the 13th of June. In the opening ceremony the speakers had one common message. For glass to remain the material of choice e.g. for building facades, it must stay ahead of the competition from other building materials and increase the industry clock speed. For this to happen, the glass industry needs to cooperate and combine, on a step by step basis, product development and continuous innovation aligned to the market needs and trends. Follow the video links below for details of their speeches.
