Gurgaon’s climate that reels between 45°C in the summer and close to 5°C in the winter, called for a glazing solution that would grapple with both the extremities.World’s largest LEED Platinum Certified Building – ITC Centre, GurgaonSaint-Gobain Glass suggested the use of two double glazed glasses for the green office – SGG Cool-Lite Blue Green and SGG Parsol Green.The two glazing solutions delivered the desired requirements; the double glazing helped in reducing the incoming solar radiation into the green office, optimized the incoming natural light, thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting and air conditioning. The result – energy conservation by as much as 53%.
