Glasstech, Inc., the world leader in the development of glass bending and tempering/annealing equipment, will feature its recently developed windshield production system, the External Press Bend Forming and Annealing System, the EPB-L™.

As characterized in its recently distributed news release on the show, Glasstech’s EPB-L is a new and unique system which produces complex windshield designs meeting original equipment standards for frameless wiper systems, such as the Bosch ICON™ standard, as well as providing the tighter tolerances required for heads-up displays.

Glasstech has joined the technical knowledge it has acquired from operating its Super Deep Bend Forming and Annealing System, the SDB-L™, with the efficiency inherent in its production-proven EPB family of automotive systems to create the EPB-L.

The new system uses a single tooling set to produce up to 225 complex windshields per hour.

During the show, Jay Molter, Glasstech’s Vice President of Marketing & Sales, will be available to editors and reporters for comment concerning the EPB-L as well as new capacity increases for Glasstech’s Deep Bend Advanced Bending and Tempering System, the DB 4™. Mr. Molter can be reached at Glasstech’s stand, Hall 1 Stand 44, New International Expo Centre, Shanghai.

You are urged to visit the booth and talk with Mr. Molter.

Hart Associates will be glad to coordinate specific interview times with Mr. Molter. Editors should contact Jim Calhoun (jcalhoun@hartinc.com or 419-893-9600) to arrange interview times.
