The surprise comes from the fact that these are areas on which series geopolitical or economic tensions are weighing and, more generally, by the fact that the signs of recovery in the world are still not very clear. The focus of our exhibition was the new vertical line Quickline.Visitors were amazed by his performances. During the custom demonstrations, they could appreciate its processing quality that does not compromise the high production speed which, in certain conditions, is superior to much more complex and expensive machines and lines.
Another source of satisfaction is that this line has found considerable interest both in less demanding markets and in the most technologically advanced ones, a cross-cutting solution, suitable for low automation and high-tech environments.
The objective of Neptun was to create a dedicated vertical line for the processing of glass doors and shower boxes, suitable for all needs, featured by high production, easy use and maintenance, and especially by an limited investment in comparison to the other productive solutions. The market tells us that this has been achieved.
Cornercut with LV Top, the corner cutting washing machine is rather a niche product for a very specific target, for companies with high automation, who do a lot of corner cutting and where the cost of labor is important.
The edging machines of the series Rock have proven to be well established. During the show, it was a pleasant surprise to receive visitors from countries that are not covered by Neptun’s sales network who knew our product, proof of the fact that this machine is emerging more and more as a reference in the world of edging.
The outcome of Glasstec 2014 bodes well for a real recovery of the glass industry for Neptun and for the entire field of glass processing machines.
