The presentation of a brand-new product generation was another reason why, from the first to the last day of the exhibition, the stand seemed to be too small to fit the crowd of visitors who came from all over the world: The A+W glasstec team had their hands full with presenting the new product generation.
The takeover by a new owner – whose name is known meanwhile in the industry - was applauded by both customers and technology partners. Most of the visitors expect advantages for both Albat+Wirsam Software GmbH – who can act even more independently in the future – and Glaston: CEO Arto Metsänen trusts in the strengthening of the core sections, machinery and services.
The new A+W products in the fields of ERP, production control, and business intelligence mainly impressed by their practice-oriented features and the state-of-the-art user concepts which are in tune with Office working environments. All in all, the trend towards more transparency, ergonomics, and mobility prevails in the products of A+W. Web-based concepts like in A+W Enterprise and in the field of production monitoring promise a lot more flexibility and real-time information on mobile terminals, everywhere and any time: To prove this point, one of A+W’s customers spontaneously produced his iPad to present ‘his’ A+W production control station complete with real-time production data – live from the shop floor!
The DynOpt monitors on the stands of A+W and HEGLA introduced the refined online monitoring and control features of this highly automated cutting environment: Impressive potential for the users with regard to further savings and a boost of performance.
By the way: Right before glasstec, the software supplier from Linden has launched his new-designed website, with a strong emphasis on graphics– come and see for yourself: it takes just a click and is worth your while!
