Artist Peggy Karr will pay her first visit to Knoxville Friday, Oct. 17, at the Glass Bazaar. "I hate the travel, love meeting the customers," she said in a telephone interview from Peggy Karr Glass headquarters in Randolph, N.J.
"I'm more of a homebody."
Though her glass is sold in specialty stores all over the country, Karr visits a limited number of retailers each year. Coming to Knoxville with her will be her husband, Tim Seitz, who is senior vice president of sales and marketing for Peggy Karr Glass. They live in Towaco, N.J.
The artist founded Peggy Karr Glass in 1987 at her home, then in Morristown, N.J.
