With over 30 years experience trading within the glass and glazing industry, Thermoseal Group’s representatives will be available on stand B60 in Hall 4 at Glassex to show a comprehensive range of comparative products. The team will also show how each product performs within a glass sealed unit and what makes double glazing built to last.
On the stand you’ll see the launch of Thermoseal’s new interactive website which is packed with useful information about building and selecting high performance sealed units that will last.
Thermoseal will also show a new range of gas filling equipment to help sealed manufacturers achieve EN1279 part 3 standards. These standards are vital in achieving legally viable Window Energy Ratings (WERs) on gas-filled units.
Mark Hickox, Sales Director at Thermoseal Group says: “We fully support the ‘Sustainability for Profit’ theme of the exhibition and want to help drive the ‘real’ message to manufacturers that achieving a sustainable solution is about the whole package. It’s no good using the most carbon-neutral products if they are built into a window unit that has every chance of premature failure.
“Most high performance double glazed sealed units are now filled with an inert gas such as Argon to increase its thermal efficiency and reduce the transmission of sound waves.
“To ensure that these units maintain their efficiency throughout their lifetime, they must not leak out the gas. Reasons for leakage can be attributable to substandard components and/or the manufacturing methods used in construction of the units.
“We’re not selling to window companies, we’d just like to share the benefit of our experience and show window companies what they should be looking for in their double glazing sealed units.”
