General Director of JSC "Novosibirsk plant "Ekran" Paul Boboshik joined the Crisis Staff created StekloSouz of Russia (SSR) for the corporate influence on the situation in the glass industry and the coordination of joint actions in the context of social and economic crisis.

Participants of the organizational meeting held on 5 February in Moscow, SSR considered a turnaround plan to overcome the negative trends in the glass industry and ensure its sustainable development.Finalize and approve the document based on the comments and suggestions of stakeholders Crisis Staff shall, by 1 March. By that same date, the headquarters will form working groups in key areas: combating rising prices for raw materials, energy and rail transportation; financial and economic issues; support for import substitution; foreign economic cooperation.

Also among the priorities of staff include the establishment of the branch system of regulation of the market of glass products; access to short-term loans (for repair, partial reconstruction, working capital financing and lending to the current long-term liabilities), with the revitalization of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation; lobbying measures to expand markets for glass production and others. Plans of specific activities of the Working Group.

In addition, the Crisis Staff is going to interact with the public authorities, which are responsible for the implementation of anti-crisis plan of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Joint meetings of staff will be held at least once every three months.
