From October 3rd until October 6th FunGlass representatives participated in the eagerly-anticipated event, Vitrum 2017, ranking among the leading international glass shows.

The VITRUM 2017 international trade fair targets machinery, equipment and systems for the processing of flat and hollow glass; glass and finished products for the industry.

Keenly anticipated was also the inauguration of the Unique interpretations – Glass experiences exhibit organized by Vitrum inside the Technology and Innovations area.

A distillation of art, history and technology, the exhibit offered cultural insights that complement the spirit of a trade show that epitomizes the excellence in glass processing machinery.

The net exhibition area of more than 13 000 m2 accomodated 237 exhibitors from all over the world inaugurated at Fiera Milano Rho.

Having participated for the first time in FunGlass history, its representatives – Prof. Enrico Bernardo, Dagmar Galusková, PhD, Michal Žitňan, PhD and Andrea Stropková, MBA – welcomed and interacted with potential industrial partners to present its research activities and areas for mutual cooperation.

Visitors not only had the opportunity to discuss specific areas of interest but also see samples of FunGlass research experimental  topics.
