This year’s encounter took place from 15-16 April in Potsdam, in north-eastern Germany and brought together numerous glassmaking concerns from all over the country to listen to the papers of industry experts on the evolution of insulating glass and its applications.For.El.’s presence in Germany is constantly increasing thanks to the support and cooperation of the German agency Glastechnik Baetz, through which we have renewed and refined our contacts with glassmakers; together with the latter, we are continuing precious dialogue centred on the technological solutions needed to cater for the production requirements of these large north-European groups.Gerhard Baetz, the owner of Glastechnik Baetz, is well-known in the industry for his previous work experiences and preparation and is very definitely the right person to back the growth ambitions of For.El. on the German market. In fact, For.El. currently sets the standards in the field of design and manufacture of automations for the composition of insulating glass. The technological progress achieved in 35 years of experience has enabled us to play a lead role in innovation applied to the flat glass working industry at global level.
The technological standards achieved, combined with heavy investments in the research and development of mechanical automation today make us a number one partner for companies anxious to renew their glass production systems in order to provide their customers with a high-performance heat and noise insulation glass.
The German area, historically advanced in terms of mechanical engineering, is showing keen interest in the assessment of our alternatives. Initially, some mistrust existed towards an Italian brand, but our clearly defined quality is eliminating all doubts and, with surprising candour, self-criticism is now rampant for not having, before now, given due consideration to such valid solutions!
