With the Automatic Arrissing Machine For.El is way ahead of the competition in the field of arrissing glass, both in terms of processing quality and technical specification.

Launched during Vitrum 2003, the Automatic Arrissing Machine Art.EG2200-EG2250-EG2300 has exceeded all expectation, as a result of in-depth studies carried out by For.El’s R&D Department, this machine - like all of For.El’s range of products – guarantees incredible performance with superior build quality.
The Automatic Arrissing Machine symmetrically removes all the sharp edges of the glass pane in order to prevent breakage and to guarantee safer handling.
It is a well known fact that microscopic cracks form along the edge of glass panes during the cutting stage that could compromise its integrity during subsequent processes such as tempering. A glass pane without sharp edges acquires enhanced quality and value compared to a pane with sharp edges.

For.El’s Automatic Arrissing Machine is highly modular and can be installed in a For.El. Double-Glazing Production Line, or retro fitted to an existing line. It can also be used as a stand alone piece of equipment upstream from the glass tempering process.

For.El. also offers the Automatic Arrissing Machine combined with its own washing machine (Art.2200-2250-2300) for a stand alone solution. This enhances the system’s flexibility as the use of in-outfeed conveyor of different lengths (according to needs) improves the flow between the two machines as well as the production cycle. It is evident that the “Made in For.El.” quality and technology leaves traditional production techniques far behind.

For.El. S.p.a. revolutionary Automatic Arrissing Machine replaces manual and automatic belt arrissing with a diamond wheel configuration. Art. EG2000 series cuts down on space and costs both on machine and maintenance, makes operating and replacing parts much easier, and enables you to obtain the finest quality finished product. The arrissing system created by For.El. guarantees safe, reliable, economic, quick and superior quality arrissing.
Respectively, the three arrissing models (EG2200-EG2250-EG2300) are able to operate on panes with height up to 2000, 2500 and 3000 mm. Contrary to the products currently found on the market, the use of a “pressure sensitive guide” and PLC-based controller enables the processing of shaped panes automatically (without any pre-setting). Data is fed back from sensors which detects if the edge of the pane is straight and flat in order to permit its precise positioning.

The extensive use of stainless steel throughout the machinery framework makes for the strongest structure and durability of wear over time, thus minimizing wear on materials and consequent maintenance.

The machine carries out two types of operations: removal of sharp edges and rinsing. In the first operation the edges are removed by means of an exclusive tool approaching system which, thanks to the diamond wheel, ensures the highest definition and precision of pane margin and maximum economy. During the rinsing stage rinse jet nozzles wash the pane.
For.El’s automatic arrissing machine was specifically designed to satisfy the needs of the double-glazing industry as well as the process and tempering sector.
As always with For.El. products, the need to push the boundaries never end and creating another product that leaves a definitive mark is our ambition and desire. Who knows what amazing breakthroughs lie in store for the Automatic Arrissing and other For.El. machines. At For.El’s R&D Department new ideas and updates are part of a daily routine and as a result we are already developing innovative new projects: THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES ( www.forelspa.com).
