Date: 3 November 2011
The trade fair in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 21–24 March 2012 is almost booked up and can impress with its supporting programme as well as the extensive range of products on display.
A new feature at fensterbau/frontale 2012 is the “Real Estate Conference” on Saturday, 24 March 2012. The programme under the direction of Dieter A. Kuberski, Verlags-Marketing Stuttgart GmbH, is based on the motto “Windows and Facades for Residential Buildings: Trends – Solutions – Practical Examples” and offers a variety of information. The presentations given by experts from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. will examine the topics of energy modernization, energy-producing facades for multi-storey buildings, security aspects for landlords and owners, and the new German Energy Conservation Act (EnEV 2012). The presentations are followed by a lunch break with opportunities for discussions and networking, before the guided tours of the exhibition start at 1.30 p.m. and show the practical examples of the topics covered in the morning. This particularly gives public housing associations, building administrations and energy consultants the opportunity to get to know the substantial potential modern windows and facades offer for new and renovated buildings, and to talk direct to the technology leaders.
The special show organized together with manufacturers by NürnbergMesse, ift Rosenheim and the Fachverband Glas, Fenster, Fassade Baden-Württemberg (GFF – Glass, Window and Facade Association) has been a permanent, well-known and popular get-together for years. The topic for the 2012 exhibition is “Energy Plus – Saving + Producing Energy with Windows, Facades and Glass”. The special show in hall 1 presents the technology that can help the windows sector to profit from the energy efficiency megatrend in the building sector. This includes thermally-optimized designs, assembly processes, glazing or vacuum insulation panels (VIP) just as much as photovoltaic systems integrated into buildings, intelligent ventilation systems, automatically controlled components, shading systems and processes for heat storage. Processors, fitters, manufacturers, planners and investors obtain expert and non-proprietary information about technology, future requirements and the necessary certificates.
Plan in good time and arrange the visit efficiently
Details about these and other items on the supporting programme at fensterbau/frontale 2012, like the GLASS WORLD Symposium, the Forum Architecture or the Innovation Award Architektur+, will be available shortly online at www.frontale.de. The new mobile services then also provide all information about fensterbau/frontale at all times for mobile users of smartphones and iPhones.
The floor plans for fensterbau/frontale 2012 are now already online as well as the provisional list of exhibitors. Elke Harreiß, Exhibition Manager of fensterbau/frontale at NürnbergMesse: “After the big demand for exhibiting space enabled us to publish the provisional list of exhibitors at an unusually early stage, we can now also offer visitors an initial look at the distribution of the exhibiting companies in the exhibition halls.” Only a few stand spaces are still free around six months before the exhibition. “There are certainly a few interesting stand spaces available for booking, but anyone who wants one of them must be quick off the mark,” Harreiß continues.
