Ethiopia's first glass factory begins producing sample produces

Addis Ababa July 22 (WIC) - The first glass factory of its kind in Ethiopia has reportedly begun producing samples of its produces.





According to Du Seng Shan, General Manager of Ethiopia Hansom International Glass PLC, the factory which has been under construction with 280.5 million birr is exerting efforts to provide construction materials for the rapidly expanding construction sector in the country.



Some 95 percent of the construction of the factory launched a year ago has been finalized, he said, adding that it was funded by the CGC Overseas Construction and China Africa Development Fund.
