The core of the EnergiClear range is based on the new SGG Planitherm Total, which has improved Window Energy Rating (WER) performance due to substantial R&D investment in the UK driven by our six state-of-the-art Solaglas DGU manufacturing facilities.

With the solar factor of the new SGG Planitherm Total increased by 2% to 0.66, this high performance low-emissivity glass allows for maximum double glazed unit flexibility. Using the basic EnergiClear configuration of new SGG Planitherm Total and clear float glass, argon gas and aluminium spacer bar, will offer the opportunity to deliver a C Window Energy Rating in most standard frames. This in turn means that homeowners have the potential to enjoy energy saving recommended C rated windows without breaking the bank. Moreover, incorporating a warm edge spacer bar or extra-clear glass such as SGG Diamant, the potential to achieve B or A rating has never been more realistic.

Whichever EnergiClear configuration is used, homeowners will benefit from the fact that the view from their windows will be the clearest of any DGUs available in today’s market, thus avoiding any possible hazy effect commonly found in hard-coated glass.

Taking advantage of this innovative product range means that window companies can now deliver excellent Window Energy Ratings as standard without the added expense of low-iron glass. EnergiClear makes Clear sense!
